ALWAYS INTERESTED IN SWAPPING RABBITS - DOES OR BUCKS - MUST BE PURE BRED - I WILL KNOW BY LOOKING AT THEM IF THEY ARE OR NOT - 0862045734

They were originally bred and created for use in the meat and fur trade but they equally make excellent pets and are very intelligent, friendly rabbits which makes them easy to work with.

I supply breeding pairs to those wishing to breed some rabbits of their own. I offer advice on breeding and rearing this breed.

If you require anymore information, please email me at the address provided and I will do our best to get back to you.

New Zealand White Rabbits are easily distinguished by their relatively large and solid bodies covered in dense white fur, their upstanding white ears, and their red eyes. New Zealand Whites were originally bred in America. They were destined for the meat and fur trade. The New Zealand White Rabbit has a cheerful and friendly disposition. They are affectionate, intelligent, and one of the easier breeds to teach tricks. These factors make the New Zealand White an ideal pet choice, as unlike many of the other rabbit breeds, they are less likely to be standoffish and aggressive.

How big will they get ?

Generally New Zealand White Rabbits grow to the following sizes:

Buck: 4 - 5 kgs / 9 - 11 lbs

Doe: 4.5 - 5.5 kgs / 10 - 12 lbs

All my rabbits stay here until they are 8/9 weeks old to make sure your rabbit is completely weaned and I wont sell them before this age - they are fed on a high quality pellet, hay and vegetable diet, If you buy your rabbit before this age you run the risk of Gastrointestinal (GI) stasis  and Mucoid enteritis.
